Anna

This senior girl is soooo excited to see her pictures... she couldn't even wait till the session was over! :) She was asking to have a peek at them on the camera, and the next thing I know she was writing me to ask when they'd be on the blog. And I didn't mind at all! I LOVE when my customers are that excited about their images.
I'm sure Anna will be pleased with her senior session... here are a few of my favorites.
Enjoy!

Megan

Girls just wanna have fu-un... oh, yeah, girls just wanna have.... la la
Sorry! :) I just was thinking about Megan's session and how it was her mom and her little sis and me... and it was fun just us girls goofing around.
We did a few of these in Glenville... that worked out good. Trying a couple new locations I hadn't used before.
I really love the picture with the "dangerous" sign. I was teasing Megan that she needed to look like a "dangerous woman" I think she nailed it! :)
Enjoy!

Heather

This senior, Heather, and her mom were a ton of fun. They had a bunch of great outfits. I love the colorful dresses I'm seeing this year. They look great on the brightly colored backdrops. It's all about having a good time here at my studio.
How do I know the seniors have a good time? Most of them have friends they send to the studio!
Well, lots to do after the wedding and family session this weekend... so that's all for now!
Enjoy!

Maddy

I love doing Scandalous Sessions! You just never know what cool locations you'll get to shoot at next! :)
Madlynn's family has a farm that was perfect for capturing that "country girl" look we were going for in her outdoor images.
As much as I like the convenience of the studio, I love going somewhere else so much more! It only takes me a few minutes of walking around a place to figure out the best places for posing my subject and this guarantees the senior will have totally unique images that no one else at school can copy. Who doesn't love that!?
Well, back to work! I've got lots more to share and a senior session later today... and a wedding this weekend... and a family on Sunday... and three more seniors next week! YIKES! Better get going!

Kevin Hunter

I just realized why some photographers specialize in just newborns! I LOVED taking this little guy's pictures! He was such a good baby. Only 8 days old and just a darling. His mommy was smart and gave him a bath and waited to feed him until I got there so he was out cold after all the activity of the morning and we got all the neat shots that she was hoping for.
How cool are these! I wish I had gotten some help to do some like this of Collin when he was just a week old. I tried doing a few myself and with Andy but I could never do it when he was napping. I didn't want to wake him up because his naps tended to be few and far between when he was a newborn.
I just know Allison and Heath will cherish these so much! Especially as he grows and becomes a little boy... we tend to forget just how small they were!
Enjoy!

The Smith Family

Oh, I had a great time taking pictures again for the Smith family. This is our third annual photo shoot and I enjoy each session more than the last.
Little Theo is not quite the baby he used to be. :*( {tear} And sweet Amelia is still rightfully the princess she believes herself to be! If I had three brothers, I'd be treating myself like a princess too! LOL!
So here's some of my favorite shots. I know I'm making this harder for Heather by giving her so many to pick from... but how do you choose!? Just go with your gut, that's what I always say.
Enjoy!

P.S. Yes, that's right. Heather has four kids and STILL looks AMAZING! I don't know how she does it... but she's making moms like me with just one look bad! :)

Brianna

I have all the luck! More gorgeous senior girls showed up to be photographed last week! :) This is one of them. She has such a unique look with her dark hair and hazel eyes. So pretty!
We went around Albert Lea to start and then finished here at the studio and I tried out a new location that I think worked very well indeed!
Brianna even had her prom dress along, which I LOVED, so we went to this field with wildflowers and did some really fun ones there. There were sooo many good ones I could hardly narrow it down.
Enjoy!

Four Generations

I'm excited to share these images with Lora and her family. They are some of the nicest people I've met through my work. Lora is originally from Forest City and now lives in Colorado and found me a year ago searching the internet for photographers. I took pictures of her adorable girls last year with their boy cousins and their grandparents.
I was so happy when they called again this year and decided to try coming to the studio for a four generations picture. They brought along a quilt they had all created together to use in the images. I think they coordinated their outfits perfectly! Way to go! They pulled colors from the quilt and it was a huge success. I guess all that picking fabrics for quilts translates well into coordinating outfits for family portraits. Maybe I should hire them to do clothing consultations for me! :)
Thanks again! Enjoy!
