Four Generations

I'm excited to share these images with Lora and her family. They are some of the nicest people I've met through my work. Lora is originally from Forest City and now lives in Colorado and found me a year ago searching the internet for photographers. I took pictures of her adorable girls last year with their boy cousins and their grandparents.
I was so happy when they called again this year and decided to try coming to the studio for a four generations picture. They brought along a quilt they had all created together to use in the images. I think they coordinated their outfits perfectly! Way to go! They pulled colors from the quilt and it was a huge success. I guess all that picking fabrics for quilts translates well into coordinating outfits for family portraits. Maybe I should hire them to do clothing consultations for me! :)
Thanks again! Enjoy!

Ashlyn

Well, I am really having fun with all the seniors that have been coming in to get their senior portraits taken! Ashlyn was no exception. She is just amazingly beautiful and super shy so it took me a little while to get her warmed up to the camera. I'm really glad we did because look at these gorgeous shots! Can't wait to show them all to her!
Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry not much time to write today. I've got a bunch of orders to place and a couple sessions left to proof and images to post online... orders to package... the list goes on and on!

Anna's 3 Months Old!

Well it's hard to believe, but three months have gone by since I took Anna's newborn portraits! Crazy. This little girl is so adorable and sweet!
She's starting to get stronger and better at holding up her head. It won't be long and she'll be rolling over and sitting up!
Enjoy!

P.S. Have a fun and safe Fourth of July Weekend!!!

Supalla Family

Well, I can now say I can handle doing a family of 15 in the studio! :) I wasn't sure how well it would work with that many people in the studio at once. We had originally planned to do this session outside where we would have more room to spread out... but since it was pouring rain when they arrived... we had to use our back-up plan.
It worked out great though. The kids were really excited to be out of the cars because they had driven quite a while to get here! So we all took turns after the big group was finished and they had brought snacks along to keep everyone happy. That's what I love about my new studio.
Something like this would have never worked in the old one... I'm still counting my blessings for having such a supportive husband that wants me to pursue my passion. (Although it doesn't hurt that it does a good job of paying the bills!) LOL!

April

I had this beautiful senior girl, April, in the studio last week. Her and her mom were a lot of fun to hang out with. We did all of these just around here at the studio.
It rained in the morning and looked like it might again all afternoon, but it held out which was great! I love it when it's overcast. Makes the lighting so much softer!
Of course I can shoot in just about any kind of weather and make people look good! :)
LOL!
There were so many good ones from this session that I couldn't hardly pick just a few to showcase here on the blog! It was so hard to pick! I don't know how April and her mom will decide!!!
Give me a call if you like what you see and we'll set up your session today!
Enjoy!

Elisha's Belly Love

Sometimes I get lucky and this was one of those times... remember the last post about Tabby's senior pictures? Well, I got lucky sending Tabby a senior postcard because her sister looked at the website with her and she's expecting a baby soon so she thought it would be a good idea to have me take maternity pictures for her too! :)
Isn't she just the cutest preggers!? I loved working with her. Like her sister, she had a great laugh and sense of humor... poor Danny, we teased him terribly! LOL.
I think he had a good time though!
Enjoy!

Tabatha

This will be the first of many seniors that will be posted in the following months! I'm excited to share Tabby's session with everyone. She was so much fun and had me laughing the whole time. I love her personality and her faith in the Lord. She seems to have a great perspective on life.
She plays the cello so we got some really cool ones with that. I love the bright colored backgrounds we used too! They totally rock with her red hair and fun personality.
Thanks for choosing me to be your photographer Tabby!
Enjoy!
