Kolby

Wednesday was so much fun! I finally got to switch gears and have a little change of pace when Kolby came to get his senior pictures taken. That's right, senior pictures. His mom and I had a terrible time trying to schedule pictures last fall, it seemed like everytime we wanted to take them it would rain... and it was a big deal because we wanted to do a bunch of outdoor pictures on his dirtbike track... needless to say, we ran into problems with cold and snow... and then before they knew it, the school was calling to say they needed his picture for the yearbook.
So here we are in the end of March and it was so cold outside that day, and windy... a lot like today was... and poor Kolby was such a good sport in his t-shirt... freezing his butt off!
I admire this guy for his great attitude. We had a lot of fun. Hope you love the pics!

Graduation Announcement Sale... Almost over!

Okay so I've been getting lots of calls lately about ordering graduation announcements from all my great seniors out there... but there are lots of you that haven't called yet that I'm pretty sure wanted to order some of these and if you get your behind in gear and call in the next day or two... you could still qualify for the 15% discount!! :) LOL!
That's right, your order needs to be finalized by the end of March to qualify... not placed by... but finalized by.
Otherwise you can pay regular price... it won't hurt my feelings! *wink wink*

Looking for more than a pretty face...

Well, as I finish up graduation announcements for my 2009 seniors I'm starting to look ahead to the Class of 2010. I'll be sending out mailings soon and would love to have some good models for next year. If you know someone who would be good model material, have them give me a call...
I'm thinking about doing a few free sessions in April just to get a little buzz going before school lets out for the summer... kind of like a mini free session for seniors who know they want to book their full session later.
Also, if you know someone who might be interested in getting their senior pictures done by me, send me their info and I'll be sure to put them on my mailing list so they can take advantage of my summer deals.
Unfortunately, I am not able to get the lists for all the area schools... NRHEG being one that is kind of a thorn in my side... considering I graduated from there! :P*
But what I can do is donate post prom gift certificates to any area school that sends me a request.
BTW... I also take requests for benefits and silent auctions as well. I love giving to charity! I also like advertising in the school sports programs and yearbooks, so feel free to ask!!

Baby Gabriella

I always get excited when I get to take pictures of a newborn baby, and Gabriella was no exception! She was only 7 days old and I was thrilled to be honored with the privilege of taking her first professional portraits.
We got some really great shots considering she never went to sleep during the session and was acting quite hungry toward the end, but I was happy to keep her up because maybe I'll play a role in helping her get her days and nights in order! :) LOL!
I'm happy to share these so soon with her mommy, who I know is ready to design her birth announcements!

Updated Senior Pictures

Hey there everyone. I'm getting geared up for senior season that will be coming too soon! I'm excited though to try out new locations and new posing/lighting ideas. I've also updated my website with the Seniors I did this past summer that are graduating this Spring. I'm just starting to get graduation announcement orders coming in, so if you're interested and need more info... call me now, as there is a discount for finalizing your design by the end of March!
I've also got a Facebook page now for the Rebecca Lynne Photography in addition to my personal profile so check it out and "become a fan"!
I don't know how I'll keep on top of all this stuff once summer comes... a website, a blog, and a Facebook page! I guess we'll see how it goes. Might have to find a senior willing to trade their facebooking and blogging skills for some pictures! Ha!

You can find his stuff at Ben's Floral and Frame in Albert Lea. They are very reasonably priced too, for hand-made items! I got the chip and dip set and LOVE it!

Graduation Announcement Time!

P.S. I'm so excited for my clients, the Tangrens... I shared her belly love session a few weeks ago and they had a baby girl!!! Gabriella Louise! I LOVE that name! It doesn't hurt that my middle name is Louise too! :) CONGRATS YOU TWO! See you Wednesday for our newborn session - I can't wait!
