Jessica

Another senior beauty. Jessi was a lot of fun to photograph. Especially once she got over her nerves!
I wanted to laugh when her mom asked where the (short) black dress came from and if she'd worn it before! :) LOL! I just know I'll probably have a teenage daughter someday that I'll be asking the SAME question to!
So once we got outside, the photos really started to sizzle. I love the ones we took at your uncle's farm and the ones in the dress. They are soooo sweet and sassy!
Thanks!
Becca

The Forsyth Family

I really had a good time meeting this adorable family! They have the cutest kids and mom and dad are good looking too! :)
We had a hard time with the ordering session because there were so many good ones to pick from, but I'm sure you'll be happy with the order. It'll definitely be worth the time we spent figuring out just what you need.
Thanks for everything!

The Murphy Family

Okay, I'm sure Lora and the rest of the family is dying to see the proofs... and I'm almost done... I promise! It's just I've been having such a hard time narrowing down the pictures because their kids are so gosh darn cute! We have so many nice ones. So I think I have it down as far as I can get it. Is 55 too many?? :)
Here's a quick preview. I'll have the rest online for you guys by the end of the week!
Love ya!
Becca

Here's Mom and Dad with the girls...

OOOOO! Ma's getting cozy with Pa under the quilt! :)

Cutting her first tooth at Grandma's!

The boys walking away...

And a few more...

Hey! It wasn't impossible after all! ;)

The Cabinets Are Here!!!

I'm sooo excited!! This is the last "big" thing before I can start decorating and moving in furniture. :) I'm sooo happy! They look awesome. I feel so spoiled now!

Check out my before and after picture of my dressing room! I love the distressed black cabinets! Just wait until the countertops are in!

Jeremy and Brian from Northwoods Cabinetry did an awesome job installing them. They are all lined up perfect and the drawers all glide sooo smooth! I wish I could have them redo my kitchen! :) They put up with me taking pictures of them! And thanks to all the gals back at the shop who sanded and finished them - You Rock!

Then there's the storage/assembly room... these are beautiful as well. I love my room! I'll be able to store all my supplies: boxes, albums, frames, etc. in here amd out of the way!

I can't wait to see them with the countertops. I don't think I've ever written a post with this many exclamation points before! Can you tell I'm excited!!! :)
Oh, and here's my little guy...
he was pushing this stool around on the floor, walking behind it! YIKES!

Krista

I really loved taking Krista's pictures. She had some fun ideas and her outfits were the perfect balance of trendy, yet timeless. Her mom brought some fresh daisies that matched a couple of her outfits and those made for some really cute pictures.
We were kind of worried that we wouldn't be able to do the outdoor pictures because it was kind of rainy, but Krista was awesome... she wasn't going to let a few sprinkles get in the way of getting her senior pictures taken. And you can't even tell it's a rainy day!
It's actually ideal to have a cloudy day versus a sunny day. It's much more flattering lighting - you don't get the dark shadows under the eyes if you're in a place without shade (like the one on the gravel road).
Check it out!

Michelle

Michelle is one of those easy-going girls that I love to get. She isn't worried all the time about her hair being perfect or if her jewelry goes just right with her outfit. She's a breath of fresh air.
I really love the fact that she brought her horse along to the studio and we got to have a lot of fun taking pictures with him.
Did I mention that I LOVE HORSES!! I love them soo much that if you were really nice to me and maybe brought me chocolate, I'd almost take your pictures for free if I got to ride your horse. :)
LOL!

Megan

It just keeps getting better. Have I mentioned that I LOVE what I do??? Megan is a great senior, she is an independent woman I do believe. :) She came by herself and had a few outfits that "mom made her wear" ;) I'm sure all the seniors can relate to that statement!! :) Gotta love those moms though! I always tell my kids *meaning the seniors I take pictures of* that they need to be nice to their mothers. After all, they'll be paying for all those wallets they want!!! Sorry! Enough of the joking around.
Megan has the most beautiful, silky, long hair! It's so healthy and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that she said she doesn't color it and I'm thinking she doesn't abuse it in all the ways a lot of us women do with our hair. I want to send props out to Megan for not following the crowd and keeping her locks natural and healthy!
Enjoy this beauty!

Sarah

One of the problems I seem to have when I get all these beautiful senior girls... is that the ordering sessions last forever! LOL! :) It's too hard to pick when they look amazing in all 40-50 pictures! That's why I do the ordering sessions with my customers. It helps a lot to have me there guiding them through the decision making process. Poor Sarah, her boyfriend and her mom were at my studio for over an hour and a half last night trying to decide (but I think we had fun!). But that's really a good thing because I think it means I did a really good job since they had so many images they liked. If it was easy, that would mean they only liked a few. Right? :)
Enjoy!
